I’m not a “fake expert” who will promise you instant results.

Have you looked at the resumes/LinkedIn profiles of many of the so-called experts on the internet?

Many haven’t done anything remarkable – other than think of ways to describe themselves as amazing without admitting that they have no track record of success.

If you don’t want a sincere critique,

you won’t like my suggestions for you.

I’ve been around business for a few decades now, and I’ve had a lot of success.  I’m happy to share what I’ve learned. 

You may not like hearing it, though. 

I see my job as doing whatever it takes to make you better.  If I can’t do that, I’ll just get out of your way.  But all my suggestions will involve change – and many folks just don’t want to do anything different.

If you’re looking to cheat people to enrich yourself,

I don’t want to work with you.

It’s important you understand this:

Sales and marketing are very powerful tools, and, if done properly, they work.

So I won’t apply them if what you’re doing is … immoral.

The Hack Your Job Search e-course is a modern guide to getting a job.  It’s all on video.

Everything else I do is personal or group coaching.

It’s a conversation with me in which I listen to you (or your team), and offer you ideas for improving.

These ideas are based on what’s working for other people, research that is being done about what’s successful now, my personal experience and the experiences of the people who choose to work with me.

I don’t believe in locking anybody into a fixed amount of time with me.  You can try having a conversation with me, and, if you get the results you want, consider having another.

(I’m a small town girl from Castalia, Ohio, who was raised to be straightforward and never to cheat anyone.  That’s still the way I run my life.)

Here’s a bit more detail, if you want it: I never planned to go to college, so when I got there I just put my head down and worked.  And I found out I was good at learning, and that when I understand something, I can help other people to understand it too.

I certainly never planned to go to graduate school, so when I had a chance to do that, I put my head down and worked and got the best business degree on the planet.

And when I headed out into the working world, I tried to be the best at every single thing I did.  I came pretty close.  And I found out that, once I’d done things, I could help others to do them, too.

I am absolutely committed to staying current on every subject I share with people like you who choose to work with me. 

 

Here’s What I Will Help You With, Specifically

My focus is for every single person who works with me to get value – as you define value – from me.

I’m the creator of a concept called the “Clean Heart Position” – which is about what you hold in your heart when you go out to sell. 

I believe that what you should hold in your heart when you sell is a sincere desire to see your client benefit from what you are selling to them.  If they can’t benefit, it’s not right to sell to them.  And if your client says they aren’t benefiting from what you’re offering them, it’s your job to fix that … or not to accept payment.
